    Install the plugin

    Vibe Editing OS is added to your Claude desktop app.

    Please set up the Vibe Editing OS plugin for me. In my user settings file ~/.claude/settings.json (create it if missing, keep everything already in it), add the marketplace "vibe-editing-os": {"source": {"source": "url", "url": "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/namansoniai/vibe-editing-os-dist/main/.claude-plugin/marketplace.json"}, "autoUpdate": true} under extraKnownMarketplaces, and add "vibe-editing-os@vibe-editing-os": true under enabledPlugins. If you need my permission to edit that file, ask me. Then tell me to start a new session.

    What you'll see

    • Open the Claude desktop app, go to the Code tab and start a local session in any folder.
    • Copy the message above, paste it and send it.
    • Claude asks permission to change its own settings: click Allow (the option that lets Claude edit its .claude folder).
    • Start a new session. Vibe Editing OS shows up in your plugins, and updates itself from then on.

    Stuck? Claude says the change was blocked? Send the message again and click Allow when it asks. Still blocked: switch the chat's permission mode to the one that asks before changes, and try again. Don't see the plugin? Open + → Plugins → Add plugin and install vibe-editing-os.

    Run setup and activate your licence

    The engine is installed and your licence is active.

    What you'll see

    • Paste your licence key (VEOS-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX): from the free-claim page, your purchase email, or find-my-key with your payment ID.
    • It installs everything in one folder: about 3 GB, 10 to 20 minutes, safe to resume.
    • "Licence activated" and "ready" at the end.

    Pick your editing style

    Get your clips ready

    One folder with the footage for one reel.

    • Either one video you already cut, or all your raw takes, mistakes included.
    • Tripod or selfie both work. Clear sound matters more than the camera.
    • One folder per account keeps each account's style separate.

    Start the edit

    Your raw clips become a clean cut.

    • Give it the folder. It picks your best takes and cuts out mistakes and long pauses.
    • One line of progress between each step.

    Check the cut

    You've approved the takes before anything is designed.

    • The cut opens as a video, with a short note on what was kept and removed.
    • Ask for changes in plain words: "keep the first take of the hook", "cut the cough".
    • Say "approve". It writes the captions, asks for any screen recordings, and plans the graphics on its own (about 10–20 min, hands-off).

    Review the storyboard

    You've checked every beat before anything is rendered.

    • A storyboard opens in your browser with real frames of every beat.
    • Ask for changes in plain words: "bigger captions", "different hook".
    • Say "approve" when it looks right.

    Get your video

    A finished MP4, ready to post.
