Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Deccansoft Software Services ("we", "us"), which operates shipwithoutcode.com under the Ship Without Code brand, handles personal information, in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. What we collect

At checkout: your name, email address and phone number, entered on the Razorpay payment page, together with the order details (plan, amount, payment ID and status).

When you create an account: your full name, email address and WhatsApp number, which you enter on our account pages, and a password if you choose to sign up that way. We store the password only as a one-way hash, never as text. If you sign in with Google instead, Google tells us your email address and your name, and we ask you for your WhatsApp number.

When you contact us: the details you share in your email or message.

When you browse: usage and device information such as pages visited, approximate location (country), browser and referring site, collected through cookies and analytics tools.

2. Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay. Your card, UPI and bank details are entered on Razorpay's secure systems and are governed by Razorpay's privacy policy. We never receive or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking credentials.

3. Your footage stays on your device

Vibe Editing OS runs on your own computer inside the Claude desktop app. Your raw clips and finished videos stay on your device and are not uploaded to us. To create an edit, the Claude app reads transcripts and preview frames under your own Claude account, which is governed by Anthropic's privacy policy.

4. How we use your information

To process your order and send your licence key and download link; to provide support and answer your questions; to send important product updates and, where you have agreed, occasional news about our products (you can unsubscribe at any time); to prevent fraud and misuse of licence keys; to understand how the site is used and improve it; and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies. One remembers your region so we can show prices in the right currency; analytics tools (Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, when enabled) help us measure visits and purchases. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site still works without them.

6. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business (payment processing by Razorpay, email delivery, website hosting and analytics), under appropriate confidentiality obligations, and with authorities where the law requires it. If you sign in with Google, Google handles that sign-in under its own privacy policy; we receive your email address and name from it and nothing else.

7. Retention

We keep order and invoice records for as long as Indian tax and accounting laws require (generally 8 years), and licence records for as long as your licence is active. Your account details — name, email address and WhatsApp number — are kept while your account exists; delete it and we remove them, apart from the order records the law makes us keep. Support emails are kept for up to 3 years. Analytics data is kept in aggregated form or deleted according to the analytics provider's retention settings.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and restricted access to customer records. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

9. Your rights and data requests

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent for marketing emails, by writing to enquiry@deccansoft.com with the subject "Data request". That includes deleting your account and the name and WhatsApp number on it — email us and we will do it, and your licence key and download link keep working. We respond within 30 days. Records we must keep by law are retained until that obligation ends.

10. Children

Our products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page with its last-updated date.
